"Our child benefitted greatly from Lindsay’s creative and loving teaching style. We could tell how much she loved and enjoyed the kids, especially through her smiles, hugs, and laughter. She was very organized, in control, and good at communication with both students and parents. She encouraged the kids to grow in each of their learning styles and challenged them in creative ways. We were impressed with how independent she encouraged the kindergartners to be. School was so fun that the children didn’t even realize they were learning so much! "Ms. Berryhill created a warm and inviting environment for my child and her classmates to learn and grow. She captured and shared many precious pictures of my child taking part in the unique kindergarten experiences we were not able to be a part of and always had an open door for us to be active participants when we could be there. We feel we have been blessed in finding a school for our Julia where not only do we not have to worry about her, but we know that she is growing and developing to her fullest potential. When we drop Julia off at Terra Verde, we know that she is in the best hands possible and will be better off at the end of each and every day. Ms. Berryhill is a terrific teacher, catering to each child’s individual needs, and fostering a love for learning that will become a lifelong joy. The focus is holistic, on the child's development not only intellectually, but also emotionally and socially. We also love Terra Verde’s "green mind set," with its emphasis on exploring the outdoors and learning to take care of animals, growing plants, and recycling. We feel our daughter is learning to care for and respect Mother Earth.
